Don't say...headache.
I gave myself a MASSIVE headache today and when it was gone I wondered why I do it to myself.
Having dropped the girls to school this morning the plan was to make my way to an in-service at Kenmore. Trouble is, when I said good-bye to the girls and got back in the car at 8.15am I realised that I honestly had NO idea how I was going to get there - I had never been to this venue and didn't take the time to check the map. That's when the headache started....so, I ask you - What are your options when you are running late and have no idea where you are going ? I considered driving with the referdex on my lap....seriously that is something I would do. However, I saw reason and took a few moments to interpret the map...I had a vague idea (eg - get onto the Western Freeway) but nothing specific about the streets leading to the venue in Kate Street. In a nutshell, lots of ridiculous inappropriate road rage targeted at selfish people having the gaul to be driving at the speed limit when I am running late. By the time I got there I was only 10 minutes late and of course no one cared, in fact they hadn't properly started.
Of course, I had to suffer the headache allll day long. BUT - I gave it to myself....it's my fault...but why ? Why do I do it to myself ?

I hear you - I canna stand red lights . The tim eseems to drag by so slowly at every set of red lights I have to stop at - and then i say " Oh come on - this is ridiculous" it doesn't even matter if I am by myself I still say it in a cranky voice...
