Surely it was a good thing to have J and Chemistgirl (who has very envious hair) over for Italian.

When a 'teacher-type' personage reads a story, she does NOT approve of sentences starting with 'But'.

    i still think in the cold light of day - that that book was horrible. Apart from having no narrative track...I just didn't like it. Italain was fab though.

    I am familiar with this particalur children's book and a campaign should be mounted to abolish its inclusion in any school library.

    I was actually thinking of taking it on Saturday night - that is how abhorrent I found it. I mean I have been known to start sentneces with 'but', BUT I am not making money from it - and that is a key difference.
