Foxy invited us for a Mother's Day brunch following the early football game nearby.
JD cooked up a huge BBQ feast - bacon, eggs, sausages, mushies, onion, tomatoes, fresh bakery bread....so good to catch up having not seen them at all this year. Sometimes moving across town can feel like moving inter-state.
We headed home at lunch time as Leesy's one wish on MD was to have an 'uninterrupted' arvo sleep.
Fingers crossed...hopefully this is happening now - I am on call to deal with any potential interruptors.

did leesy get an uniterrupted sleep? dis she???? I hope so - I myself have just awoken from a sleep /relax/read...nice way to spend a sunday afternoon

Like you, Leesy DID achieve an arvo sleep...in fact when I crept past at 4.30pm she was shocked to hear the time.
The champagne at Foxy's might have helped !
