Before bed I was given a sound telling-off by 2 adults family-personages about the irresponsibility of my planned 'midlife crisis' circumnavigation.
I woke last night at 3am worried about dingoes.
The fact that there was a 3 metre-wide path that led around the border of the entire dam, as well as being spooked by a jogger an hour into the walk....meant that there was never any danger.

Dont mind being proved wrong. Well thats not actually generally true, but in this situation it is.

congrats and very happy that there wasn't a story about you in the local rag. Also don't know what happened to the comment I left the other day - it disappeared. You can imagine that it was extermely witty though. Hope the rest of your B'day was super fun. Ar eyou going to make this walk a regular trek? You could really try and better your time - perhaps jog?

i THINK i WOULD LIKE TO DO THIS WALK AGAIN...NEXT TIME - EVEN TAKE GUESTS ALONG....BUT I do actually jog (which I don't usually mention coz I think it makes people think I am a try-hard)...so this is a shout-out to any takers for the great circumnavigation...you are welcome !

I think that I will not follow suit though, I would prefer something much less outdoorsy.... I will let you know what I get up to in due course!
PS I do know where you can go sky diving!
