    the kiddiewinks I'm sure would LURVE to go thunderegging....where does one go in the Great South East to do this? I went as a kid myself at Mt.Hay near Gladstone or Rocky or somewhere but didn't know there were local spots....

    Thunderbird Park at Mount Tamborine. You are guaranteed to find a thunderegg and they aren't expensive to cut.
    Our kids found some and they are thinking they are very clever indeed.
