Don't say...it's broken !
This time we can't blame the rats !
The DISHWASHER has completely stopped working. It is finished.
We have had this first, one and only dishwasher for 6 years...previously in Charleville we, somehow, hand-washed everything !
Strangely, there is a certain water-saving satisfaction in hand washing...it isn't nearly as labourous as I imagine...but maybe it's the novelty of it all.
Having said that, we desperately want a NEW one...luckily we've timed our break-down with the post-Xmas sales....hopefully we'll get a bargain.
PLEASE do not think that I cannot see it is time for a hair-cut for Damo...when the boufant appears it isn't pretty !

It's not as good as your old "Jason Donovan" mullet c.1980s.
As for hand-dishwashing, that sounds like a really theraputic and "edumacational" job worth adding to the daily task list for Rubes, the junior All Black and the Princess (X probably a bit young)...?

Damo - I can see your eyebrows!!! As for washing up by hand, beware the Tea-towel Flick...(esp. with a damp one. One of my brothers thwacked me so hard once, it actually drew blood and caused a haematoma around the site)

I agree that every child should be made to wash up...it's one of the cruel realities of childhood that cannot be missed...so I will punish them with it today plus the obligitory inspection with a number of failed items that must be re-washed.
I will make sure that I avoid the savage tea-towel flick now having heard that you can actually draw blood !
I am thinking that perhaps I should use some eye-liner on my eyebrows to bring out their natural beauty ?
