After Dinner Tonight

I have sensitive teeth. It's self-inflicted.

In 1991 when I was smoking I struck upon the idea that I could prevent any discolouration of my teeth by scrubbing them morning and night with Smokers Gel Toothpaste...and the results of that dumb idea cause my lifelong sensitivity...good one Damo ! Given my personality type, I would STILL be smoking if it weren't for Leesy's ultimatum in 1993. Thank you Leesy.

They only really bother me from time to time - like right now for example. Drinking a glass of water feels weird and chewing gum isn't much fun either. I am a little concerned about how I'll work my way through my 'compulsory' chocolate after dinner tonight.

You didn't mention your teeth grinding.
Or the psychological loading of anything dental in our family.
How do you stand on the flouride issue ? Any good stories on disposing of those yucky compulsory little dinner time tablets. So many opportunities going to waste.
And that's not your house in the picture!! Not a single toy in shot !

    Ok - pthc4 - in reply :

    1. I simply forgot to mention the teeth grinding.. but I am not denying it..perhaps that's a good blog for another day.

    2. I know not of thepsychological loading of anything dental...but I am curious.

    3. Flouride - well - I think it is unnecessary ...but I didn't mind those chalky pink tablets.

    4. Yes - that is not our house - but it is ME...photo is at the Unit in Caloundra.

    5. I do take your point about opporutnities going to waste and will attempt to provide a more thorough coverage of topics.

well being a fellow teeth grinder, i dont really have any sensitivety so i def think it is from the smokers gel paste....... How do you manage all that chocolate if your teeth are so sensitive?????? Do you think you will need to give up your chocolate addiction if your teeth get worse.........

  6. Damo Says:

I agree Chemist Girl - it's all about the heavy duty industrial strength toothpaste and not the grinding. Well I guess my teeth aren't completely ruined and it kinda comes and goes...but hen it comes to chocolate - some things are just worth forging thru.

And I know whose toothbrush it is too. My teeth have never been the same with just the thought about the consequential photo.

Why don't you book yourself into see a Cole dentist and get your teethy pegs fixed?
