Don't say...keep the clutter.
You might not recall that decaying 25 year old pop-art 'Picnic' in the messy garage a couple of days ago - well - I've got a plan...and in fact, I've decided what I am going to do with all of sentimental items that are falling apart and have no use....
I am going to simply take a photo of it then send it on its way in the wheely-bin. That's it - problem solved.
This way - I have a record that it once existed but surely a photo takes up a lot less space.
To add to the collection, here are two portraits I painted of my Dad while I was in College...he's moving and doesn't want them and they are falling apart.

i think this is a great idea - and have in fact seen it mentioned on Oprah! so are you goign to be taking pictures of the pop art 'picnic' as I do want to see. Also I wish you would stop beating me to the daily posting each day . I race home thinking surely i will be the first to blog today - alas no...

Hi Janelle (I assume its you)...I am so entertained by both of your blogs. Keep up the good work. Nice paintings by the way Damian....I would struggle with the photo concept of old stuff but I admire the brave step.

"Himself" would probably suggest that it's not only the paintings that are slowly falling apart...
