Never Ever Disappoints

Don't say...savoury.

So, I am on the phone to Leesy J while I am at work today and she says that she feels like eating something 'savoury'.

"Savoury ? Who says savoury ? What kinda word is savoury ?" was my tactful response.

I think the word 'savoury' is some oldie-worldie left-over from 1955. I mean, when in daily speech does one use the word savoury ?

Speaking of 'savoury' dishes - here is our fave all-time take-away meal. Conisder this my second formal recommendation...The Phuk Deli at Indrops. OMG - seriously - there is nothing better. I have the Chicken Laska and Leesy J always has the Sugar Cane Prawn Salad. It never ever ever disappoints.

What are those little biscuits called:- ..... Shapes?? Appears I am not the only one to use the oldie worldie language:) Anyone who wants to help me out here is welcome.

You're on your pat malone here, Damie. "Savoury" is a pretty standard description for stuff that isn't sweet - sorta like you!!! Or perhaps you can inform us what you think the correct term is? Yet again, Leesy is right, and you are wr... wr... (oh, the pain!)

  4. Kareny Says:

Looks like you've become an unSAVOURY character, casting aspersions about language around the place willy nilly........

  5. anotherJ Says:

So how do you pronounce the name of that deli?

  6. Damo Says:

I will leave that to your imagination.
