Pavers and Pebbles

Don't say...Dog-Poop.

Two of the kids took Reggie for a quick walk around the cul-de-sac yesterday and after about 10 minutes returned giggling. We asked them what was funny - they explained that they had placed dog-poop on our neighbours front step so that she might walk in it. Huh ? Is that funny ?

I explained that yes it would be a funny thing to 'talk' about doing but not a very funny trick to play for real and to go immediately and retrieve it if there was still time. Please God let there be time !

While they were gone Leesy J and I were discussing how on earth would they have moved the poop from place to place...when Leesy remembered that they had done a similar thing yesterday placing it under someone's car tyre and waiting up the tree to see if the car squashed it. I cannot remember ever wanting to go anywhere near that stuff when I was small...dead snakes or toads maybe...but NEVER dog-do-do !

Anyway, enuf of that, here is one more thing that I think turned out OK...it's the 'Throne' that Leesy uses to sit on to watch the kids in the afternoon after school. Some old sleepers and then hardwood decking - not that complicated but well, I like it. Makes me realise that I need to get in and finish off the front yard - badly in need of some pavers and pebbles.

I think it all depends on how "fresh" said dog-poop is. If sun baked and white, it can be picked up as if a small pebble - but then that loses the desired effect if you want someone to step in it.

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...did they save your neighbour in tim e- please tell me the did. i can picture a scooby doo kind of moment, with your neighbour saying "if it weren't for those rascally kids" and ripping off a mask...to become old Mr Withers. DO you remeber how that always happened in Scooby doo. Or perhpas it was more a dennis the menace kind of moment - and also methinks the poop musthave been small...otherwise they could maybe start earning money doing poop patrol for people - since they don;t seem to have ana version to it. I would pay someone to pick up poop...

Well I;m hearin' ya Sista ! Noone wants to pick up p**p if they HAVE to...I also agree about the very near miss with the Scooby and Shaggy moment - it woul be our lovely neighbour ripping off her 'mask' to reveal Charlotte Dawson underneath.

So did the neighbour step in the poo? I need to know. Wish I had thought of that trick when I was small.
