Don't say...you have to sit on his lap.
Escaped reality today to finalise some Christmas shopping at Indrops. Had 3 out of 5 kids with us so didn't have the Phuc Deli for lunch - after all - Chemistgirl couldn't meet us there anyway.
As we entered X announced "I am NOT going to see Santa !".
Naturally, Santa is out in force beckoning small children to tell them their secret wish list. It dawned us some years ago that the obligitory "Shopping Centre Santa photo" is 100% the agenda of the parents.
You can see parents (like us in the past) forcing their kids to sit on Santa's lap (ignoring everything we've ever taught them about stranger danger)...we believed that it was in their best interests to have a cute photo - perhaps one day they might look back and be impressed.
We are so over that !
Before we left, E talked Lisa and I into sitting on those $2 massage chairs...I often pass them and think "I should do that" but you never EVER see anyone in them - so - there's gotta be a reason, right ?
